Arena Zagreb Concert Hall: Depeche Mode to Visit Zagreb in July
Depeche Mode, a famous British electro band, will visit Zagreb in July this year for the fifth time.
Cult British electro band Depeche Mode will put on a show on 23 July this year in the Arena Concert Hall. This concert, their fifth in Zagreb, will be held as part of the world tour whose North American part will start on 23 March while the European part in mid-May. The tour also promotes their new, fifteenth album entitled “Memento Mori”.
The “Memento Mori Tour” is the first tour without a prominent member and one of the founders of the band Andy Fletcher who passed away in May last year. Therefore, the world tour of the band appeased numerous fans of the band who were worried about the future of the band after the loss they suffered.
Depeche Mode, which has been performing for 42 years, has sold around 100 million records and the “Memento Mori Tour” is their nineteenth tour. It is estimated that the total of more than 35 million fans heard them perform at previous concerts. The last album “Spirit” was released in 2017. It was famous worldwide, which is proven by the fact that it made top of the charts in eleven countries, and it was among the top 5 albums in as many as twenty countries. The release of the album was followed by a tour during which as many as 3 million fans of their music attended 130 concerts.
World fame and enormous interest in the music made by this cult band are another reason to come to the concert in Zagreb.
