On Stages in Zagreb: Eventful Concert Season
Many foreign bands and singers will perform on stages of Zagreb this year. Their number is continuously increasing, making Zagreb an interesting destination for numerous fans of their sound.
Even though concert season is just starting, the arrival of many famous foreign performers has already been confirmed and the list is getting longer by the day.
Pioneers of electro punk and EBM Deutsch-Amerikanische Freundschaft are coming to the Tvornica kulture Hall for the first time on 26 April. The band, which has already performed in Zagreb, will promote their latest album “Nur Noch Einer”.
An entire string of interesting concerts will take place on the openair stage of the Šalata Sports and Recreational Centre. Based on announcements so far, the first will be the concert by one of the most famous bands of electronic music, Faithless, which will take place on 29 June. They are winners of a number of golden and platinum albums around the world. In Zagreb, they announced an openair audiovisual show led by versatile musician Sister Bliss as part of the tour dedicated to their deceased member Maxi Jazz.
British rock band Skunk Anansie will give a concert on the same openair stage. The concert is part of a grand tour dedicated to thirty years of their work.
Queens Of the Stone Age, one of the greatest and most influential rock bands in recent decades, will perform twice at Zagreb’s Šalata Stadium, on Tuesday, 22 July, and on Wednesday, 23 July, 2025. The shows in Zagreb, part of the band’s return tour which was cancelled last year due to illness, will promote the latest album. However, the central part of the concerts by QOTSA are still their songs which were released within more than two decades.
The performance of French heavy metal bans Gojira is scheduled to take place on the openair stage of Šalata stadium on 27 July, exactly three years after their first show in Zagreb. The release of a new studio album of the band should also take place in the first half of the year so the concert in Zagreb will be part of a world tour to follow after that.
A concert of American underground band Clutch has been scheduled for the end of the year. They will perform on 6 December at Zagreb’s Boćarski dom Hall, after three concerts held at the Tvornica kulture Hall. These favourites of audience in Zagreb will perform the biggest hits of the three decades of their career.
