New Web: Pets of Zagreb – A Welcome and a Guide of Services
Pets are welcome in Zagreb, which has been confirmed with new web pages that guide you through all services for your four-legged friends.
Travelling with pets is often an organisational challenge; owners can encounter many obstacles along the way. To make sure this does not happen in Zagreb, the Zagreb Tourist Board compiled all information useful to those who are accompanied by their four – legged friends in one place.
So, at the specialised site entitled “Pets of Zagreb” you will find pet-friendly services. There is a long list of accommodation and catering units, veterinary services, shelters, dog parks, grooming saloons and cultural institutions that allow access to pets. The site of course also lists the rules that should be obeyed by visitors with pets so as to ensure a pleasant stay.
On the occasion, Martina Bienenfeld, the Director of the Zagreb Tourist Board, said: “According to the research, more than 50 per cent of travellers around the world bring their pets with them to a vacation, and a large number of dog owners choose to stay at so-called pet-friendly hotels. I am particularly pleased that with this page we additionally highlight our city as a recognisable destination which welcomes visitors with pets.”
