Oh, February, the month of love! It is well known that some of the most beautiful romantic thoughts are captured in verses of poetry. It is almost as if the poets experience the emotions of love in the purest form... or maybe the most torturous one?

Many media sources claim that Zagreb has the highest number of museums per capita in the world. Some articles point out that the city has around 30 to as many as 40 museums, with a population of about 800,000, which results in a very high ratio.

In recent weeks, we were hit by cold, truly wintry weather - snow fell across almost the entire country, snowploughs were working at full capacity, roads faced numerous restrictions due to ice, and many people, especially children, decided to enjoy winter’s snowy delights.

2025 is coming to a close, and many people are already shutting down for the year, even culturally. If you are one of them, let us stop you right there, as there are still so many things left to see. Some are only available before 2026

This December, whenever you walk around the central Zagreb square, you will hear the sound of the bells. It doesn’t take tremendous investigative skills to discover where the sound is coming from.
