It was the workers and residents during the antifascist movement who gave the neighbourhood its nickname, the “Red Trešnjevka,” and left their mark on this dynamic community with a layered and diverse past. Though without a physical home, the Trešnjevka Neighbourhood Museum thrives through its ever-growing collection of stories and artefacts – a virtual fundus shaped by the very people who call this neighbourhood home. For now, urban tours, exhibitions and creative interventions in public spaces breathe life into the museum's vision.
