Artupunktura, a platform for culture and art, which is to take place in public spaces in Zagreb from 12 October to 13 November, changes the conventional discourse of city events in many ways. In its third edition it continues the mission of bringing art to public spaces, communities and various aspects of natural, urban and cultural ecosystems, creating unexpected but certainly important and impressive encounters.
Artupunktura is an art platform which uses universal language of visuals, theatre and music which is widely understandable to speak about our everyday life in a committed and often provocative way and questions it. At the same time, it spurs us to think, research, experiment and inspires social processes at community and global level.
Whether planned or unexpected, a walk in public spaces in Zagreb will bring interesting encounters but also timeless messages.
This year, Artupunktura is a gathering place of many attractive projects which are managed by various institutions, organisations and collectives, all initiated and organised by the Zagreb City Board. Many artists, associations and communities will participate in programmes to take place in various city locations.
Within the one-month framework of Artupunktura, an eventful programme of public roundtables, workshops, screenings and talks will also take place.
