December in Tvornica kulture – Industrial Grade Production of Excellent Music!
For all lovers of great concerts Tvornica is an unmissable stop again this December.
An array of concerts, almost every day, is in store at Tvornica kulture, a.k.a. the “Culture Factory”. On the first day of December Keziah Jones, the charismatic singer and guitarist, for the first time presents to Zagreb his rhythmic Afro sound with the originally-named “Blufunk” show.
Scottish “pirate metallers” Alestorm and Icelandic Viking-folk warriors Skálmöld are playing in Tvornica on 4 December as part of their Skalstorm 2018 tour, with Voloh from Rijeka in support.
Dates definitely for your diaries are 7 and 8 of December and the traditional pre-Christmas concert of Croatian band Urban & 4. They will be performing their back catalogue, their best-loved songs from a long career.
American underground rock champions Clutch are coming back to Tvornica kulture on 9 December, bringing us their fantastic new album Book of Bad Decisions. Postmodernists Jukebox are coming to Zagreb as part of their new Black & White autumn tour. After 20 sell out concerts across Europe they are performing in Zagreb on 11 December. One and a half year after their last live appearance The Strange are performing on 13 December to promote their new album Echo Chamber.
Croatian band Elemental in 2018 celebrates 20 years of its existence. The peak of the celebrations will take place on 14 and 15 December in Tvornica. The group has created its two-day show “XOXO” in a completely atypical way. On the first day, named “Our Concert”, Elemental will prepare a list of songs to round off a career of many years’ standing. On the second day, with a performance named “Your Concert”, the audience gets to decide which songs will mark two decades with the band.
And the icing on the cake: on 21 December the Vlatko Stefanovski guitar trio is playing.
