Floraart: Floral Arrangement Is the Best Invitation
The 54th International Flower Exhibition Floraart once again attracts visitors with colours, scents and artistic arrangements made by florists from Croatia and abroad and offers them a wide range of plants to ornate their gardens and yards.
The 54th International Flower Exhibition Floraart, the largest horticultural event in this part of Europe, is open 
from 16 to 21 May in the exhibition area of Bundek, a park in Zagreb. In about 300 thousand of outdoor and around 2000 square meters of indoor space, around 200 exhibitors from Croatia as well as around 20 foreign experts from ten other countries, display their flower arrangements. In addition to floral exhibits, Floraart also hosts a sale of flowers and seedlings.
Also there are numerous promotional events and lectures held as a part of Floraart, and a Competition of exhibitors, the Croatian florists’ cup, International competition of high school students and the winner announcement of the Competition of the most beautiful garden.
Even though exhibits are available to visitors in Bundek Park as of 13 May, due to the bad weather that struck Zagreb, the official opening of Floraart will take place on 16 May. Also changes are expected to occur in the additional events scheduled for the start of this floral exhibition.
The exhibition is open every day from 9 to 21 and the entrance is free of charge. Transport is free of charge from the city centre (Mažuranić Square) to Bundek. In cooperation with the company HŽ Passenger Transport it has been arranged that visitors arriving to Floraart with suburban trains are entitled to a 40 percent discount on the price of the ticket.
