Kino Europa – Subtitled Tuesdays
A film programme for foreign fans of the Seventh Art
Every Tuesday, all year round, Kino Europa shows one of the films from its current repertoire with subtitles in English, if the film itself isn’t already in English. The programme of film screenings with dual language – Croatian and English – subtitles is a response to the growing needs of the ever more numerous overseas audiences. This is a great opportunity for foreign guests to get acquainted with Croatian film as well as European productions. That this has proven to be a well-judged initiative is shown by the fact that Subtitled Tuesdays successfully started back in 2015.
