Open-air Šalata Stage: Two Concerts of Queens of the Stone Age in July
Two concerts of rock band Queens of the Stone Age to take place in Zagreb will thrill their fans but also mark a record of the open-air stage where they will take place
American band Queens of the Stone Age, one of the greatest and most influential rock bands in the world in recent decades, will perform at the Šalata stage in Zagreb two days in a row, on 23 and 24 July. The second concert was added due to a strong interest of fans. The first concert was sold out in a very brief period making it the fastest sold-out concert ever at the Šalata Stadion, and at the same time the first to take place on the open-air stage two days in a row. The concert is part of the world tour promoting their eight album entitled In Times New Roman which was received with unanimous praise by both fans and music critics.
The rock band of a distinct sound, frequently mentioned by its abbreviated name QOTSA, has released eight albums so far and received seven Grammy nominations, including four nominations for the best hard rock performance, two for the best rock album and one for the best rock performance.
