Prizewinning film “Zagreb in the Heart of Europe”
The Tourist Board of the City of Zagreb was the third place winner for its promotional film “Zagreb in the Heart of Europe”. The award was won at the world's leading international travel trade show ITB Berlin.
The Tourist Board of the City of Zagreb has won third place for its promotional film “Zagreb in the Heart of Europe” at the recently held international travel trade show ITB Berlin. The award is the “Das Goldene Stadttor” (The Golden City Gate) which is traditionally given out at the world's largest tourist fair. This year there were 94 films in the competition. The choice for the best film was made by a panel of 29 judges.
The promotional film “Zagreb in the Heart of Europe” is comprised of a series of 18 short promotional films. The executive producer was Miroslav Crnjaković from the Studio Maras production house. The representatives of the Tourist Board of the City of Zagreb were presented the award in Berlin by Ernst Hinsken, the representative of the Federation for Tourism in the Republic of Germany, and Wolfgang Huschert, the organizer of “The Golden Stadttor” award and president of the selection committee.
The prizewinning film “Zagreb in the Heart of Europe” can be seen on the website www.zagreb-movies.com. It will also be shown on channel Z1, on which Zagreb Television broadcasts four hours of programming on a daily basis via Hot Bird 3 satellite.
