Ryanair: Connecting Zagreb with 19 European Destinations

Within the framework of the winter flying schedule, Ryanair airplanes will connect Zagreb with 19 European destinations, which is one more than last winter. There are also optimistic expectations forecasting an increase in the number of passengers.

This winter, Ryanair airplanes will also connect Zagreb with the Canary Islands, meaning that this airline will connect the Croatian capital with the total number of 19 European destinations. Another novelty is an increased number of flights on the existing air routes to Basel, Dublin, Gothenburg, Malaga, Malta, Memmingen and Paris.

As announced by Ryanair representative, from April 2022 to the late March 2023, 1.2 million passengers flew with this airline in both directions, which is a 22 per cent increase in comparison with the previous fiscal year. A similar increase is expected until late March 2024 as announced by this low budget airline.

Ryanair has three aeroplanes stationed in Zagreb, which is a 300-million-dollar investment, directly ensuring 90 highly-paid jobs in airline industry in Zagreb.

Ryanair is planning to base six of its aeroplanes in Zagreb in the next several years and to use them to fly around 5 million passengers to and from Zagreb.
