Three Days of Top Class Music
Between 3 and 5 July, the Island of Croatian Youth will be the venue of the fourth Rokaj Fest featuring an impressive lineup of the best representatives from the Croatian and global urban and rock scenes. The tickets are already on sale at very reasonable prices.
The fourth Rokaj Fest will again feature an impressive lineup of representatives from the Croatian and global urban and rock scenes. The festival is scheduled to take place between 3 and 5 July on the Island of Croatian Youth, and will feature some thirty performers who will appear on a total of three open air stages. Besides the well established names from the Croatian and global urban scenes, the festival will also make room for lesser known bands and individuals. Among them will be the winner of the iDemo Rokaj Festival, an event open to Croatian demo bands. The deadline for applications is 15 June. The winner will also gain the right to record their first CD, and thus the incentive to promote unknown musical talent continues.
The highlights of this year's Rokaj Fest will be the popular Croatian band Hladno Pivo (Cold Beer) and the British band Razorlight, for whom this will be their first ever gig in this part of Europe, including Croatia. The band’s first album, Up All Night, recorded in 2004, sold several million copies and was followed by another four albums. The other bands that have confirmed their appearances include The Toy Dolls, The Bellarays, Karamelo Santo, Superhiks and Mlyk and our own Mandrili, Emir & Frozen Camels, Tranzistor, Popeye, Postolar Tripper, etc.
