14th Edition of Zagreb Kom: a Goodbye with an Excellent Music Experience
The Zagreb International Chamber Music Festival (Zagreb Kom) will take place from 11 to 16 October. An appealing programme, renowned representatives of Croatian and international chamber music and a wish to ensure an excellent experience for the audience do not reveal that this fourteenth edition of the festival will be the last, in line with the organiser’s decision.
The fact that it will take place in the Croatian Music Institute from 11 to 16 October, means that the fourteenth and the last edition of the Zagreb International Chamber Music Festival is back at the venue where it was first organised in 2006.
During five excellent music evenings the music of Schubert, Paganini, Shostakovich, Schuman, Brahms, Horn, Mozart, Bernstein, Dvořák and Tchaikovsky will be played by brilliant musicians from Croatia and abroad. Some of them are Susanna Yoko Henkel, Guy Ben-Ziony, Zvi Plesser, Mario Ivelja, Petrit Çeku, Ewa Kupiec, Trio Elogio, Stefan Milenković, Monika Leskovar and Radovan Vlatković.
“All good things come to an end. After fourteen beautiful editions we decided to say goodbye to an annually-held festival and dedicate ourselves to new challenges and art projects.” said the organisers announcing to their loyal audience exceptional farewell music treat in mid-October.
