World Dog Show: Zagreb Soon to Host the Largest Canine Event!
In April, Zagreb will host the World Dog Show, this year’s largest canine event in the world.

The World Dog Show will take place at the Zagreb Fair from 24 to 28 April. More than 20.000 dogs and participants from the entire world are expected to take part since more than 15.000 dogs from 70 countries registered for the show and accompanying events until mid-February. Exhibitors from Italy, Poland, Hungary, the Czech Republic, Germany and Croatia are the most numerous.
According to the data of the Croatian Kennel Club, these are the most represented breeds so far: the Rhodesian Hound, the Welsh Corgi Pembroke, the Golden Retriever, the French Bulldog, the Labrador Retriever and the German Shorthaired Pointer.
In addition to exhibitors, a number of visitors from the entire world are expected to attend so it is certain that life in Zagreb will be marked by the event in late-April. City hotels, other accommodation and catering facilities as well as citizens, a lot of whom have dogs as pets, are also going to extend their warm welcome.
