A Great Musical Event in Dom sportova – Pozitivan concert
Dom sportova, the great hall and the Pozitivan concert! Editors, Hladno pivo and Pips, Chips will play at the 14th Pozitivan concert, one of the largest concerts in the region.
The Pozitivan concert, the largest and longest-running Croatian indoor musical event, will be held in the Great Hall of Zagreb’s Dom sportova on Friday 30 November and Saturday 1 December. In its 14th year, this year’s Pozitivan concert will be the largest yet, and the headliners are Editors, Hladno pivo and Pips, Chips and Videoclips. For the first time the headline act will be a foreign band, the British group Editors. Editors have already sold out Zagreb’s Tvornica kulture several times, and now they will take the stage in the Great Hall of Dom sportova. For Croatian band Hladno pivo, this will be their last large performance in their 30th anniversary year, while Pips, Chips and Videoclips will be playing their home city for the first time after their triumphant performance for a crowd of 10,000 at the Zagreb Beer Festival.
The group Jonathan will have its second performance at “Pozitivac” (as it is fondly known), while there are four “debutantes”: Nipplepeople, M.O.R.T., Ischariotzcky and Bojana Vunturišević. The programme of the 14th Pozitivan concert is as follows: Friday 30 November - Editors, Nipplepeople, Jonathan, Bojana Vunturišević; Saturday 1 December - Hladno pivo, Pips, Chips & Videoclips, M.O.R.T., Ischariotzcky.
The Pozitivan concert is organised by the HUHIV and LAA NGOs, and in the 13 years of its existence it has become a leading Croatian musical event and one of the biggest concerts in the region. “Pozitivac” is one of the HUHIV activities which raises awareness of AIDS and HIV.
