A Rich Program for a New Season
Tvornica kulture (the popularly known Tvornica) opens a new season with a rich program, featuring prominent Croatian and foreign artists, headed by the globally famous pop-punk band The Offspring.
Tvornica has prepared an impressive lineup of events for the upcoming season. On September 5th, the season kicks off with a gig by the globally famous group The Offspring, a punk-band which sold over ten million copies of its mega popular album “Smash” in 1994. The Zagreb concert is staged to promote the band’s new album “Rise and Fall, Rage and Grace”. The opening concert will be followed by many other musical events featuring local and international artists, including Mars Festival, Direct Drive, Arsen Dedić and Gino Paoli, Kočani Orchestra, Cesária Évora, to mention but a few.
Tvornica was first opened to the public in 1999 with a view to promoting new ideas and movements, including theater and dance productions, performances, film projects and concerts. Conveniently located in the city center, the venue quickly became a favorite gathering spot for artists and performers. Although it started its life as a club, its state-of-the-art technical equipment could not be overlooked by concert organizers for long. As a result, a number of top class Croatian and international rock and world music artists have played Tvornica.
