Exhibitions: Achievements of the Furniture Industry and Creatives in Interior Design
Interior design, achievements of the Croatian furniture industry, creativity of designers and interior design trends are the topics of two interesting, traditional exhibitions that announce the intense Zagreb business autumn.
The fourth InDizajn - Modern Home Festival, which will take place from 26 to 29 September in approximately 5,000 square meters of Zagreb's multi-purpose sports hall Arena, will gather about 80 exhibitors from the field of interior furnishings, renowned experts and architects. In addition to the exhibition of Croatian creatives and product designers, the festival will host interesting workshops, lectures and panel discussions, with a rich Children's Corner program.
The showroom will feature finished furniture as well as custom-made furniture, designer décor and all other inspirational home decor solutions.
In the first half of October, from 9 to 13 October, a traditional but conceptually re-designed event under the common name Ambienta will be hosted at the Zagreb Fair, organized by the City of Zagreb and the Zagreb Fair. Ambienta is being held for the 46th time and is extremely important for the Croatian furniture industry, architects and the entire profession. The exhibition will be organized in five thematic units in ten pavilions. In the first of these, called Ambienta, visitors will be able to see all types of furniture for interior and exterior decoration, repro materials and garden industry machinery.
The design zone, a novelty at this year's event, is reserved for novelties in the furniture industry and new trends in interior design. Within this thematic unit is the Ambienta Box, a promotional platform intended for the presentation of creative market-established but also young designers of furniture, lighting and equipment for decorating business, personal and public spaces.
Special thematic areas of this year's Ambienta are Construction and Furnishing, HORECA (catering equipment) and the Art Fair Zagreb.
Ambienta, where the best exhibits in individual categories will be rewarded, will also offer workshops and other educational content, as well as exhibitions of works by vocational school pupils and college students.
