The Vatroslav Lisinski Concert Hall: The Fourth Performance of the Spectacle The Nutcracker!
Wonderful news coming from the Vatroslav Lisinski Concert Hall to all those who want to see The Nutcracker performed by the Ukrainian Classical Ballet. After two shows which were sold out, two more performances have been announced!
In addition to the two announced performances of The Nutcracker by the Ukrainian Classical Ballet which were sold out several months in advance, the third performance of the ballet has been announced for 17 December and the fourth performance for 15 December at 4pm. Many fans of this piece as performed by the world-famous Ukrainian ensemble who were not able to get tickets for the two previous shows will now get their wish granted. The choreographer of this Christmas fairy tale composed by Pyotr Ilych Tchaikovsky is Valery Petrovich Kovtun, also known as a ballet master and winner of many awards and international recognitions. The very esteemed and popular ensemble, which gathers excellent dancers, champions and soloists of Ukrainian national theatres, has around 300 ballet performances a year. They are characterised by classical ballet with a modern twist which makes them unique in the world and their version of The Nutcracker, which they performed around eighty times just last year, is completely different from classical ones.
Therefore the four performances of The Nutcracker, which is usually performed in that time of the year in the Croatian National Theatre, by the Ukrainian Classical Ballet are an additional reason to visit Zagreb during the holiday season. After all, it was declared the most beautiful Advent story three years in a row.
