Future Scope: Fatboy Slim in Zagreb
In early March within the Future Scope project, a globally renowned DJ and producer as well as winner of many prizes Fatboy Slim will perform in Zagreb.
The Future Scope project, which has been promoting electronic music and raising generations of its fans since 2001, will welcome a globally renowned DJ and producer Fatboy Slim on 7 March in Zagreb. This means that the pavilion 10A of the Zagreb Fair will be a gathering place of numerous fans of electronic music.
Fatboy Slim, whose real name is Quentin Leo Cook, has been a drummer, a bassist and a lead singer in his career and has had an impact on the revival and set the future course of the hip hop scene. In the late eighties he started cooperating with Simon Thornton and turned to the musical genre he found interesting.
He released his first album as Fatboy Slim entitled Better Living Through Chemistry in 1996, and after this there were six more. He patented his own brand called “party acid house” and brought audio-visual production of his shows to the highest level. He is the winner of a Grammy, ten MTV awards and three BRIT Awards.
Fatboy Slim likes pushing the boundaries of sound and music. The audience of the show in Zagreb, which will be joined by Croatian, internationally acclaimed house duo PEZNT and DJs Jock, Shipe, Frx, and Slovenian DJ Angel Anx, will experience an event to remember.
