SRC Šalata: Simple Minds Again in Zagreb
As a part of their world tour, in July Simple Minds will mark four decades of their activity with a concert in Zagreb, reminding audience of their greatest hits.
On 13 July Simple Minds will hold a concert at the Šalata sports and recreational centre which is eagerly awaited by their fans in Croatia and neighbouring countries. The concert is a part of the 40 Years Of Hits world tour and it is the second performance of the popular musicians in Zagreb. Six years ago Simple Minds held a concert in the crowded Small hall of Dom sportova.
At this year’s concert these world-famous and widely respected Scottish rock musicians will perform the greatest hits of their forty-year career. They will hold 53 concerts in 16 countries in the European part of the world tour, and the concert in Zagreb is the only one in the region.
As an introduction to the celebration of their anniversary, the band released two albums; the album “Live In The City Of Angels” which was recorded at a concert during the long North American tour, and the compilation “40: The Best Of 1979 – 2019”. The hits collection is an overview of the long and impressive career of this band and it includes 40 tracks, from the greatest hits to a new track, a remake of King Creosote’s “For One Night Only”.
The Zagreb audience will get a chance to hear all of these alive in July.
