The Four Seasons Club

The Zagreb Zoo has devised yet another attractive educational program for school children, and all other youngsters who want to learn about exotic animals. This new project, “The Four Seasons”, enables children to learn about animals throughout all four seasons, as it also allows them four visits to the zoo with just one ticket. This new project is a continuation of the Zoo’s efforts to organize various educational programs, which have been ongoing for several years now. Thanks to such activities, the Zagreb Zoo has recently been voted best in Europe and won an award in the campaign “The Year of European Carnivores” competing against 150 European Zoos that participated in the campaign during 2008 and 2009. The Zagreb Zoo won the well-deserved award for raising public awareness about the necessity to protect European carnivores.
 
Apart from four visits to the zoo for the price of just one “Four Seasons” Club Ticket, each child receives an accreditation with their name on a special stripe and an educational brochure for every season. Zoo tours are conducted by specialist guides throughout the entire year. Besides that, each child will receive an email address should they wish to put a question to the Zoo educators, and an opportunity to shop for the “Four Seasons” souvenirs with a 30 percent discount, as well as other benefits. For instance, each child who buys one of these Club Tickets also automatically gains the right to participate in a prize competition.

Organized school visits, available on weekdays between 09:00 and 15:00, can be arranged in advance by telephone on 2302-198/3, while children who come with their parents or friends can announce their visit by email at 4godišnjadoba@zoo.hr. Children under the age of 10 must have an adult guardian present at all times.

The price of a “Four Seasons” Club Ticket, which the Zagreb Zoo has prepared in cooperation with the Idea-Perfekta agency, is 50 kuna.
