New Offer at Jezerčica Spa
Many new year-round facilities for relaxation, fun and unbridled pleasure have been opened at the popular Jezerčica thermal spa, located near Zagreb in Donja Stubica in the heart of the Croatian Zagorje region. The new facilities are very tempting reasons to visit.
Have you ever been to a sauna which is not enclosed, but rather offers a panoramic view of the picturesque surroundings? If you like the idea of such unique relaxation, head to the Croatian Zagorje region, to Jezerčica thermal spa in Donja Stubica, where many new facilities, including panoramic saunas offering views of Zagorje, were ceremonially opened in March. They are part of the new wellness and recreational zone at Jezerčica Spa.
Following a four million euro investment, the spa has been transformed into an attractive wellness, congress and tourist destination which operates throughout the year now that facilities adapted for all seasons have been added to the already existing summer facilities.
The newly built section covers a surface of 2800 square meters and features an attractive water park and the aforementioned new wellness zone. The water park features four new swimming pools; a 25 meter recreational current pool, a children’s pool with straight dual slides, a small children’s pool with toys, and a non-swimmers’ pool with a Jacuzzi.
The offer is complemented by numerous other facilities and amenities, including two cafés.
The new wellness zone is an extension of the existing wellness centre, where visitors will now have the opportunity to enjoy a steam sauna, three Finnish saunas, one of which is an aroma sauna, and the two aforementioned panoramic saunas. The offer also includes one infrared salt sauna and a hamam – a Turkish bath with a sauna. There are also other areas for relaxation, such as an outdoor sun deck, two whirlpools and a cold swimming pool to refresh oneself.
The new zones connect the existing hotel and congress centre, thus making the Jezerčica Spa a real oasis near Zagreb. The spa’s wellness offer is based on the source of medicinal thermal water that has an average temperature of around 38 degrees Celsius. One of the unique features at Jezerčica Spa is that the thermal water supplies the entire hotel, including its 45 modern rooms.
The congress area offers four well equipped congress halls intended for seminars, presentations or meetings for up to 200 people.
